If you’ve always wanted to write but aren’t sure how to begin or just feel that something is missing in your life, this workshop will help you unlock your creativity.

Writing is a wonderful way to explore our own lives, express our ideas and feelings or create new worlds. But getting ideas on paper can seem a daunting task. Even experienced writers can struggle with the blank sheet of paper … the new document on screen … Self doubt can stop us before we even begin. This introductory workshop will show you different ways get started.

Writing Non-Fiction

An introductory workshop where you will write about the people and places that matter to you.

At this workshop you will

look at examples of travel & biographical writing
learn how to plan & structure articles
write about a place you know well
write about someone you'll never forget

Discover your Muse

The Greek Muses have inspired writers and artists for over two thousand years.

At this workshop you will

learn about the 9 Muses and their mythology
find how they relate to our lives today
discover your Muse
write about memories inspired by your Muse
write a story inspired by your Muse

Circe's Island

Circe is the Goddess with the power of transformation. She can turn men into animals but also helps Homer's hero, Odysseus, listen to the Sirens' song and survive.
This workshop uses visualisation, stories and images to help you explore your creativity.

At this workshop you will

hear the story of Circe
explore Circe's Island
work in a small group to develop a story
plan & write a story on your own

Follow up sessions

Individual or group sessions for people who have attended my workshops where you will
get feedback and advice on developing your writing.
